| Levi and I are making progress. Actual, real, visible progress!
We came home and kind of decided we were tired of how things are set up. we want something new and different. But before we can move any furniture (or put any new around... we got a new end table and a folding table and chairs as belated wedding gifts this weekend)... our apartment is a mess! There's loads of stuff we're not using, piles of stuff still from the wedding gifts that we don't have any place for, trash we haven't gotten around to tossing... just lots and lots of stuff. So we've begun a pre-autumn cleaning.
I'm feeling pretty damn proud of all we've accomplished so far, even if it's only been a few hours. So I'm going to post up here what we get done when we do it... for my benefit, because I'm damn proud, and for everybody elses' benefit... so you can all see that I'm not nearly as lazy as I seem to be.
So far we have: Cleaned the Closet Sorted out shoes, throwing some old ones away and choosing some to donate to Goodwill Sorted out coats, throwing some old ones away and donating some to Goodwill Cleaned up the top shelf, donating some winter apparel and throwing others away, going thru games and decks of cards Sorted through the PILE OF PAPER STUFF that needed to be filed, shredded, tossed... basically gone through and fixed Put loads of currently unusable Christmas goodies and Wedding gifts in storage Cleaned off the Table Went through bunches of old bills and stuff on table, shredded and filed Finally got puzzle back on table Got basket of random shit off the table... sorted that out and put the basket in storage
This list will be updated as I do more.

| Top 5 Best Foamy Cartoons 1.) The Wallet - Why? It's funny, damnit! 2.) Super Mystery-Cult - It's not just a cult. It's a SU-per cult! 3.) Almost Serious Suicide - Why? It's funny AND was my intro to Foamy! Plus, I love it when Foamy sings. On that note... 4.) Squirrel Songs - Pure musical awesomility, dude. 5) Ok, it's a tie. I really can't decide. There's Free Your Mind, which is humorous because it pokes fun at The Matrix, and The A-Kon Rules, which is funny because it's TRUE.

| My name is Kimberley Chapin and I am irrimatated at a lot of things right now. Rather than put up my whiny, angsty post, I'm just gonna let everyone know that if I'm grouchy, that's why.

| Time: 6:40 in the morning Attitude: Sucks
I still, still, STILL hate mornings. I nfact, I may hate them more than I did before. I've hit this point where everything seems pointless.... I'm just going to keep missing sleep and getting up early and I'll never catch up until I run myself into the ground or die.
I'm sure after more than a month of this it has to get better, but right now I just want to die or cry or both.

| I don't know why I really bother to post - I never actually get any comments. For all I know, I'm talking to myself here. Meh. I'm excited because tomorrow is my first day off of work from Meijer. I'm enjoying my new job, although I hate the "useless" feeling I get when it takes me three times as long to do something as it takes everybody else... and then they're all "You're still working on that?" Except for my boss, Amy, who is really great. She's very understanding and very laid back. It's great. There's a couple negatives to this job. 1) I have never really worked a solid 40 hours a week. I mean, a few times I did at Best Buy, but very few and far between, and even then it was more like 32. 2) I am in no way, under NO stretch of the imagination, a morning person. The lastest shift I have is 7am-3:30... on Sundays, I work 4am-12:30. It seems sick and wrong for me to be getting up that early. 3) I really have a lot less time with Levi now. Especially because now he's working 6 days a week because they lost 2 people at the gas station. It's awful. I miss him! However, there are positives. 1) I'm making money! Our weekly income is doubling as of the week after next. That'll be good. Plus, I'm not sitting around at home, so maybe I'll spend less? Maybe... pricing things to clearance is a big way for me to make a shopping list in my head... Anyway, 2) I enjoy my job because it's something new (READ: NO CUSTOMER SERVICE) and fun. 3) I've got some pretty fun co-workers, I don't feel like a complete outcast. And 4) despite the massive hours I'm working, this has to be the most laid-back environment I've ever been in. I'm still fairly brain-washed from that Boot Camp fondly referred to as Best Buy, so the freedom to take 2 breaks and a lunch, to do it whenever I damn well please, and to do it without chatting to anybody about it is great. I can wear pretty much any pants I want as long as they are khaki colored or black. I can handle this.
All in all, we're doing okay, I think. The positives slightly outweigh the negatives. One massive positive? I'm about to go to bed. And I'M GOING TO SLEEP UNTIL NOON...and love every single second of it.
